London Celebration

Our Civil Partnership ceremony was on Friday, 1 July 2022 at Lambeth Town Hall.

We loved celebrating with you that evening at our lovely local tap room, Friendship Adventure.

Where

Friendship Adventure is a 3 minute walk from Loughborough Junction station (with trains to Wimbledon, Tooting, Streatham, Mitcham, Elephant and Castle, Blackfriars, Kings Cross/St Pancras, Hendon…). It’s a 10-15 minute walk from Brixton Tube / overground.

Friendship Adventure, 245a Coldharbour Lane, London SW9 8RR

When

Doors open at 6pm, and your first drink is on us.

There’s no set time, although we will be saying a few words at about 8pm, so you may want to be there by then.

We’ll be there until midnight.

What

We’re planning on something quite relaxed — think afterwork drinks. As it’s in a tap room, the evening won’t really be suitable for children.

There won’t be lots of food, although there will be a slice or two of pizza available straight after we’ve said a few words. You’re very welcome to order in food to the venue, and we’ll have some recommendations and contact details on the night.

The next day…

The next day, we’ll be hanging around in a local pub. Absolutely no pressure for anyone to come along, but if you find yourself at a loose end and want to come debrief the night before, you’re very welcome to call in at the Prince Regent, opposite Brockwell Park, from 11am on Saturday, 2 July. We’ll be there until about 3pm. And they do a tasty breakfast/brunch until 12.30pm.

Prince Regent, 69 Dulwich Road, London SE24 0NJ

Closest station is Herne Hill. Or tube to Brixton and then either walk (20 mins), or 3/37/196 bus.

From Herne Hill you can get the train to Kings Cross, a short walk from Euston station for people heading north later that day.
