We’re really glad that there will be lots of children at the celebrations. In fact, it’s around 60 between the ages of a few months to 16 years old.
We want everyone to feel relaxed, so please do make sure that the Centre feels like a home-from-home. There’s very little you can’t do. There’s hardly anywhere that’s out of bounds. And anywhere that is will be clearly marked.
During Mass, if anyone wants to run around outside the marquee, that’s fine by us (and the priest).
During the main meal, there’s a door straight to the outside so if anyone wants to nip out to get rid of a bit of energy, go for it!
All weekend, the ‘bean bag room’ will be open and TV/films can be streamed onto the big screen.
There’s lots of outdoor space, and balls and things for people to play with.
The Centre now has a climbing wall, low ropes and archery. We’re hoping to have one of the Centre’s team around on Saturday morning so that people can have a go if they wish.
The main thing is, if there’s something someone wants to do, let someone know and we’ll try and make it happen.
Please note: there’s very little phone reception and no real wifi at the Centre, so you may want to download some TV shows onto tablets/phones if anyone is going to want to watch something specific during the weekend.
